Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic. Combine well and set aside for later use.
  • Chop the green onions, slice the red bell pepper and cucumber, and prepare the shrimp.

Cooking

  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they become pink and opaque.
  • Pour the teriyaki sauce mixture over the shrimp and cook for another 2 minutes, letting the shrimp absorb flavors while the sauce thickens.
  • In the same skillet, add the pineapple chunks and sliced red bell pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they soften slightly.

Serving

  • Layer the cooked jasmine rice in serving bowls. Arrange the cooked shrimp and sautéed pineapple and bell pepper on top.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions, optional sesame seeds, cucumber slices, and fresh cilantro.
