Preparation

  • Dissolve the active dry yeast and granulated sugar in warm milk and let sit for about 5 minutes.
  • Mix melted butter, salt, eggs, and the yeast mixture in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Gradually incorporate all-purpose flour, knead for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Shape the kneaded dough into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Filling and Shaping

  • Combine raspberry jam, softened butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon for the filling.
  • Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Evenly spread the filling over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  • Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal rolls.
